About

I was born a creative kid in country Gippsland, and loved telling stories to my brother growing up in the bush. After enjoying my time writing and performing sketch comedy and community radio whilst at University in my mid 20's I was introduced to film production, and fell in love with storytelling again.

Making 3 films, in six weeks for Tropfest in 2003 I continued producing Short Films, including being awarded an Arts Act Grant, to make my first professional shortfilm The Milkman in 2005. Taking 18 months to produce, this premiered to pact audiences in Canberra's Electric Shadows cinema, alongside my first documentary film The Bill Allen Legacy

I became increasingly intrigued with the documentary form,  for its ability to explore the truth when presented within the power of a great story  I was privileged to work for Australia's multicultural television broadcast channel SBS television.  Working with international world stories as a Business Affairs Associate for over two years, followed by for  the Australian Centre of the Moving Image in Melbourne. 

I earned my first broadcast credit with Foxtel's History Channel for a two hour commemorative documentary filmed for the APEC World leaders conference. This involved interviews with 12 out of 24 world leaders who attended the conference including President George Bush,  Prime Minister John Howard, and Helen Clarke. This culminated in assisting to produce a 12 part online interview series  with IOC president Jaques Rogge, screening to over 6 million people during the Beijing Olympics. 

In 2009 I commence production under True Blue, with a distinct focus to champion the individual stories of ordinary Australians using online content, film and photography: to celebrate their truthful and authentic stories to promote their business, project or enterprise.   Five years latter I have now worked with some major international brands including Toshiba, Staples, City of Melbourne, World Trade Centre, Eureka SkyDeck and produced a 14 minute tourism program for SkyBus Television. We continue to provide coverage of major international events such as the Spring Racing Carnival, Soundwave and The  Big Day Out.
